"SENSITIVE TO MY EMOTIONAL NEEDS"

Jen and Pierre were sensitive to my emotional needs and patiently talked me through the process of sorting through my clothes, taking appropriate breaks and pushing me when needed.  They had a good eye for what to keep, what to donate and what to sell.

They also helped resolve some contractor issues in my home I feared would be too expensive to repair and contributed to my overall feeling of stuckness. Jen and Pierre's experience as contractors enabled them to get some estimates from appropriate professionals and discover that the repairs were expensive, but not unmanageable.

"THEY ARE DEEP LISTENERS, COMPLETELY NON JUDGEMENTAL AND OPEN"

Not long ago I was stuck.  My stuff was in a chaotic state.  I was unhappy with the clutter in my house and yet I was unable to do anything about it.  The clutter was also, I will add, easily the biggest thorn in my marriage.  I honestly wanted to change, but was simply not able to do so by myself, which was frustrating and frankly pretty embarrassing.

Pierre and Jen really worked with me in order to turn things around.  They are deep listeners, completely non judgmental and open. They helped me to steadily work through sorting out the backlog, reorganize and rethink my relationship to things, and helped to establish some good practices going forward to keep things more consistently in order without periodic heroics.

"QUIET COMPETENCE WITH THE HIGHEST REGARD FOR QUALITY"

Here's the description of Jen and Pierre's professionalism in a nutshell: quiet competence with the highest regard for quality. My husband and I have used Jen and Pierre for many years to do interior house painting, color consultation, and recently, help with organizing and providing recommendations for contractors. Their relocation out of the New England region was a great loss, as my husband and I came to rely on them to do meticulous work at a fair price, always on time and with minimal disturbance to our household as they worked.

“THEY BROUGHT PEACHES”

I knew that I liked Jen and Pierre when on their second visit they brought peaches from their tree, chocolates from a local candy shop and the name of a good speech therapist.

"OUR HOME IS FULL OF 'STUFF'"

Our home is full of "stuff;" "wonderful stuff."  I am a former geologist (which means rocks, fossils, and minerals) as well as professional papers on geology.  I've always been interested in the domestic arts of sewing, crocheting and Knitting and have closets and chests full of cloth, knitting needles, thread and yarn.

Richard, my husband, is an antique dealer and collector.  He buys and sells works on paper - drawings, watercolors and prints, which he frames and sells.

During their visits and the time they have spent in our house, they have started by showing us techniques in organizing.  Example: To organize and store frames by size with a tag indicating size of frame - very important for my husband.  For me, look for groups and societies such as mineral dealers or collectors or science teachers for my geology collections and people and groups who quilt or teach knitting.

We had a yard sale, a family affair where we sold many collection items and raised several thousand dollars.
